My future Job

 

I would like in my future job to have the opportunity to implement changes in the planning of cities to make them more sustainable, I would also like to assess disaster risks for the most vulnerable communities that may be affected by climate change. I imagine this work in the field, exploring and studying the different territorial dynamics in our country, I also imagine myself in an office where everything that is collected in the field can be taken to a future solution for cities. In this work I would like to travel to know different realities as I mentioned before, since each territory is configured socially, culturally, and economically in a different way. Really, the salary is something that doesn’t worry me, my intention since I entered the geography career has been to somehow combat climate change and its impact on the poblation, especially to people who don`t have resources.

However, I want to tell you that I have a waffle business, and it is also a job that I would like to have in the future, but it is something that requires time and dedication. I like the idea of being able to control my own time, I hope in the future to do one of the two jobs.
